Flowers are synonymous with romance. A bouquet of colorful and
sweet smelling flowers is a most romantic endearment for a woman. In fact, even a single bloom is enough to make a lady smile. Ironically, the giving of flowers, which is one of the oldest and most popular traditions of courtship, is also a gesture often ignored or avoided by men. In fact, with the exception of Valentine's Day, there is no other day in the year when flowershops are crowded with men wanting to get the most beautiful bouquet for their partner. Every 14th of February, men rush and compete with each other before the nearest shop runs out of flowers and then forget everything about flowers and flowershops during the rest of the year.
Of course, I'm not saying that all men are amnesiac when it comes to giving flowers. Yet many guys simply try to avoid this gesture thinking that flowers are a girl thing and expensive. Guys hate to admit this. There are plenty of men who want to get the most out of a relationship, yet only a few are willing to squeeze a bit from their wallet. Of course, you can't buy a woman's love and an
good relationship. Yet spending some extra cash on special occasions isn't bad also.
